NYSBDA

The New York Stage Band Directors Association is is the premier educational organization for band directors in the state of NY. Each year, the association holds a Symposium in Syracuse,  NY for Band Teachers and students who are accepted into the Middle School Honors Band, High School Honors Band, and Jazz Band.  Students are accepted into the bands based on their NYSSMA scores from the previous school year. 

Applications are filled out with help of your band teacher and are due in the fall.  

The 2023 Symposium will take place on March 1-3.  Here is the schedule of events for the High School Honors Band from last year.
